FarmHouse Men at the University of Missouri have been active in this first half of the spring semester. Many of them have received accolades campus-wide and we would like to praise them for those achievements.
First, Liam Smyth, a senior studying Biochemistry, received the recognition of being a member of the Mizzou ’39. Mizzou 39, a program sponsored by the Mizzou Alumni Association Student Board, recognizes the top 39 seniors based on academics, community involvement, Mizzou activities, and record of achievement. This is a huge honor, and we are proud to have a member of FarmHouse listed as one of Mizzou’s best and brightest.
Secondly, we recognize two of our members for their acceptance in the Mizzou Homecoming Steering Committee for 2011. Brothers Brent Rogers and Benjamin Reifschneider were selected to help lead the various activities of Mizzou’s legendary Homecoming for the fall of 2011. This will also be the 100th anniversary of Homecoming, s o the number of people who applied for the Steering Committee was unusually high. Benjamin Reifschneider will be the Emcee for the skits, and Brent Rogers was placed in charge of the Parade. We wish both of them luck in the near future in organizing these great events.
Lastly, the men of FarmHouse worked together to win 1st place in Division I A-team Basketball! The team had a great season and was able to take home the championship. They faced several tough games, but were able to prevail. The team members are listed below.
Corey Johnson
Cody Luke
Robert Freeman
Mark Wehmeyer
Matt Wopata
Zane Hildreth

For the 99th Annual Mizzou Homecoming, FarmHouse was paired up with the lovely women of Alpha Delta Pi, and the men of Tau Kappa Epsilon. As many of you know Homecoming is something that FarmHouse really enjoys participating in, and always expects to do well in. This year’s Homecoming weekend was the same weekend that ESPN was on our campus and featured the MU vs. Oklahoma game as its GameDay setting. There certainly was a lot of excitement on campus for both the big game, and all of the Homecoming festivities.
Many FarmHouse men donated their time, talents, and resources to help put FarmHouse in a position to win the Homecoming competitions. Below are the final results for how our pairing did.
Overall: 5th Place
Banner: 2nd Place
Blood Drive: 5th Place
Campus Decorations: 3rd Place
Superlative: Best Characters
Merchandise: Full Points
Service: Full Points
Parade/Float: 4th Place
Talent: 6th Place
IBA Winner- Benjamin Reifschneider and Brianne Boland (Pi Beta Phi) performing “Home”
As you can see, the talents of the FarmHouse men were put to good use and produced results. Our goals were high at the beginning of the Homecoming season, and we exceeded many of them. It also leaves the house motivated to do even better next year. Pictures of the many aspects of Homecoming are uploaded onto the website, and can be viewed under the Photo Albums page.

Hello, and welcome to the newly redesigned Missouri FarmHouse website. After a couple of years of introducing our website, we felt that it was an appropriate time to upgrade the layout, content, and overall function of the website. Mizzoufh.com is dedicated to provide valuable information to alumni, current members, prospective members, and anyone with an interest in our fraternity. Our content is designed to inform those individuals on the current happenings of the Alpha Chapter, showcase our beliefs and history, and offer a place for alumni to connect with other FarmHouse Men. We encourage our alumni and undergraduates to create a profile, enjoy the new features of our website, and return to the website for frequent updates on our activities as a house and the achievements of our members.
